After more than a decade of delivering quality disco-tinted house tunes and classy re-edits, Glasgow maestro Graeme Clark, aka The Revenge, who also operates as one half of 6th Borough Project together with Craig Smith, has finally dropped his debut album “Love That Will Not Die” and it’s well worth the wait. The 14-track record showcases every side of his sonic psyche, rewarding the listener with an epic journey through a mix of styles and ambience. One of the album’s standout tracks is “Stay A While”, a great track that finds The Revenge teaming up with ’70s disco icons Sister Sledge. It’s really something special.
“They made music that is still relevant today because it was soaked in emotion and people can still relate to that. I strive to retain the same spirit in my music too and I think they can recognise that. It’s good to have a mutual appreciation from the outset on any collaboration rather than it being a business decision, and I certainly feel the love goes both ways on this one,” explains The Revenge.
The album “Love That Will Not Die” is out now digitally, on CD and as a limited edition vinyl double-pack via The Revenge’s own Roar Groove imprint. Get it here.
