Subjoi: “Alone”
Subjoi has returned to Lost Palms with a great EP of dusty house goodness.
2020 has been a busy year for Subjoi, who has dropped a string of quality records, the “Me & U” EP on Shall Not Fade, the sun-soaked five-tracker “Fairfax” on Lobster Theremin’s Distant Hawaii imprint and the “In Absentia” EP of four chilled house cuts on 13th Hour Records. The prolific Australian producer has returned to Shall Not Fade’s sister label Lost Palms for his last release of the year, delivering a perfect slice of nostalgic house anthems. Entitled “Bias”, the four-track record finds Subjoi in fine form, blending ’90s UK rave sounds with his unique brand of dusty house music. One of our favourite cuts is “Alone”, an infectious house roller. This is about as good as it gets.
The “Bias” EP is out now via Lost Palms. Get it here.
