Southern Shores: “Palo Alto”

After a four-year hiatus, Toronto synth-pop duo Southern Shores, one of Cascine’s earliest acts, are back with their new single “Palo Alto”, just in time for the summer sun. This wonderful new track of “blissful yearning; for another place, another time” is the first taste from their forthcoming debut album “Loja”. The record, which follows two acclaimed EPs full of dreamy synths and sun-soaked hazy vibes, 2011’s “Atlantic” and 2012’s “New World” is a “reflection on travel and its ability to unlock a larger worldview,” according to the label.
