Sébastien Tellier: “Stuck In A Summer Love” Video
A trippy animated video directed by Mrzyk & Moriceau
Next week, French maestro Sébastien Tellier will drop his new album “Domesticated”, named by the film director Sofia Coppola, which follows 2014’s Brazilian-influenced LP “L’Aventura”. Before it drops, we’re treated to the record’s new single “Stuck In A Summer Love”, which arrives with a trippy animated video directed by his long-time collaborators Mrzyk & Moriceau.
The single “Stuck In A Summer Love”, a homage to the dance productions from 2002, is a heady ritournelle about Sébastien Tellier’s old obsession of his first summer love. The eight-track “Domesticated”, mostly written at home, sees Sébastien Tellier gathering a fresh new guard of producers with the aim of crafting a new lush, futuristic pop sound, although still infused by his eternal and oh so special melodies.
“Domesticated” arrives on May 29th via Record Makers. Pre-order it here.
