Sébastien Tellier: “Simple Mind”
A surprise new album from French maestro.
In a surprise move, Sébastien Tellier will put out a new album, titled “Simple Mind”, which follows his sixth studio album “Domesticated” released back in May.
The album “Simple Mind”, co-produced with French producer nit, is a lush though very minimalistic resume of some of his most beautiful compositions ; a classic live-recorded album where old and more recent songs will find a confined listener caught in a wave of domestic bliss. The 11-track record is simple and minimal, something to listen to in the bedroom, the living room, under the shower…
In his own words: “‘Simple Mind’ is a total rebirth for my music. For this minimalistic live recording, I’m cleansing my own songs so you can (re)discover them in the most pure and intimate way. I want to take you to the closest of my chords, my melodies and my voice in order to share the essence of my art with you. As simple as that.”
The first extract “Look” arrives with a video, which was shot by Pablo Padovani in his studio. Expect nothing less than three minutes of pure feelings.
