After sharing the darkly “Skulls”, along with news of the forthcoming fifth and final traditional album “The Inevitable End”, Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp have unveiled another new track in the form of “Sordid Affair”, which features vocals from Ryan James of Man Without Country. According to Röyksopp: the song is “a recollection and contemplation of the emotional aspects of the endeavours as described in the track title. The difficulties of letting go of emotional attachments – even those of a questionable nature.” Give it a spin above, and enjoy the ride.
Röyksopp’s new album “The Inevitable End”, their first full-length since 2010’s “Senior”, which drop on November 11th via Cherrytree/Interscope. The record also features guest appearances from Jamie McDermott of orchestral pop group The Irrepressibles, Norwegian singer/songwriter Susanne Sundfør and Robyn. Pre-order here.
