Say hello to Prince of Livia, the new solo project of Tomek Szpaderski, lead singer of Polish electro-pop trio Kamp!. This week saw the release of Prince of Livia’s debut EP titled “Perkal”, which was recorded during Tomek’s vacation time, somewhere between the shows and studio gatherings of his band. It’s a well-crafted collection of four deeply emotional and hazy, atmospheric pop tracks, paired with lush melodies and subtle layers of synth pads. “These songs were written in my favourite places, full of carefree summer memories and vast emotions,” he says.
Our favorite track from the EP is “Perkal Pt. 1”, an airy, midtempo affair for your evening rides this summer. It also serves as the perfect introduction to Prince of Livia’s sound. The “Perkal” EP is out now via Brennnessel Records. Stream the whole thing here, and get your copy here.
