Terr: “Welcome Rain”
Berlin-based producer Terr contributes to Correspondant’s 8th compilation a disco-infused burner.
Jennifer Cardini’s ever-excellent label Correspondant defies the curse of 2020 by dropping its 8th annual compilation, a great 18-track collection of musical innovation and premium positive vibrations. Featuring old friends, including Man Power, DC Salas, Juan McLean and Terr, and new friends, including Captain Mustache, Mala Ika, Franz Scala, INVŌKER alike, Correspondant’s eight installment of its ongoing compilation series is a sonic silver lining to keep us marching through these strange times. Power-packed with every leftfield shade and flavour we’ve come to know and love Jennifer Cardini’s label for. Dark disco, sexy synthwave, slo-mo cosmic funk and sleazy, dubby techno are all deep in the mix.
Before it drops, we’re psyched to premiere one of our favourite cuts from the “Compilation 8”, a splendid new track from Brazilian-born, Berlin-based DJ/producer and Clash Lion co-founder Daniela Caldellas, aka Terr, who’s making serious waves these days. Having already wowed us with her exceptional releases of pure dancefloor magic on labels such as Phantasy, Correspondant, Hotflush and Permanent Vacation, Terr is rising fast and shows no signs of slowing down. Her contribution to the compilation is “Welcome Rain”, a seven-minute disco-infused burner, which follows her recent collaboration with Copenhagen’s WhoMadeWho on “Falling Out”. This synth-driven club-ready tune is yet another fine example of Terr’s retro-futuristic sound. Play it loud exclusively on LAGASTA.
The “Compilation 8” arrives on December 11th. Pre-order it here.
