The last we heard from Brookyln’s purveyors of “Next Jack Swing” French Horn Rebellion was late last year when their dropped a superb six-track EP called “Foolin’ Around” of big bass, brass and drum indie-funk vibes. It also marked the pair’s first original material to feature their own vocal work since 2010. Now, the brotherly duo of Robert and David Perlick-Molinari, are ready to drop a follow-up remix EP, including reworks by the likes of That’s Nice, Majestique, Fake Money, Jamie de Von, Robert DeLong, and John “J-C” Carr.
Today, we’re delighted to share with all of you one of our favorite remixes from the strong package, a delicious rework of the EPs title track from rising Mexican producer That’s Nice, who has been turning heads with his funky, disco-infused remixes. As expected, That’s Nice delivers the good, an insanely catchy remix of “Foolin’ Around” full of feel-good vibes that brings us closer to summer. Give it a spin or two above, exclusively on La.Ga.Sta.
The “Foolin’ Around” Remix EP arrives on February 19th via Ensemble Records.
