Damon Jee & Darlyn Vlys return to Correspondant with their second collaborative EP.

Following the release of their debut collaborative EP “Kronos”, released back in April, prolific French producers Damon Jee and Darlyn Vlys have joined forces once again for their second EP titled “Behind Us” of dancefloor goodness on Correspondant.

This time round, the freshly-formed French duo deliver a great record of three quality original cuts. This is raw, heartfelt and heavy music from some of Correspondent’s nearest and dearest, all laced with an overwhelming sense of tension and enormous moments of release and amplified by three exceptional versions from Perel and Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht.

Capturing the sound of a scene waking up and marching into action with more energy than we’ve seen since the 90s, every track on the record fits this time we’re in right now. The daring drum drama and ridiculously tense rises of “Behind Us”, the touching end-scene euphoria of Perel’s remix of “Apocalypsis” and the powerful and seemingly endless build of “Prophete” are three examples of the substance at play.

Today we are delighted to premiere the splendid remix of Damon Jee & Darlyn Vlys’ track “Apocalypsis” from our beloved Berlin producer, DJ and singer Annegret Fiedler, aka Perel. On her six-plus minute remix, Perel injects the original tune with a healthy dose of extra synthwork, and delivers something otherworldly and magical that’s tailor made for your late summer rides.
