Dutch producer and multi-instrumentalist Kai Hugo, who recently relocated to Los Angeles, is gearing up for the release of his self-titled debut album on Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space Records under his new solo project Palmbomen II. Before it drops next month, we’re treated to this spacy ocean related clip for his track “Carina Sayles”, the second in a trilogy of videos. Recorded during a summer lockdown in his mother’s attic in their hometown of Breda, The Netherlands, the 14-track album is said to have been inspired by the cult ’90s sci-fi show The X-Files.
Directed by Kai Hugo.
The “Palmbomen II” LP will arrive on March 3 via Beats In Space Records.
