New Zealand’s Kim Pflaum, formerly of dream-pop outfit Yumi Zouma, is getting ready to drop her debut solo EP “Bad Humors” under her Madeira alias. The “Bad Humors” EP is a collection of five tracks that melds dreamy soundscapes, irresistible melodies and lucid production. In her own words: “I created these songs to make sense of the painful experiences they deal with. By completing and releasing the songs, I feel I am somewhat ridding myself of what has been ailing me, letting go.” Today, we’re treated to the slick grooves of the record’s superb new single “Manipulator”.
The “Bad Humors” EP will arrive on September 23 via Carpark Records. Pre-order it here.
