Say hello to Loframes, a new and exciting collaborative project between London singer-songwriter James Yuill and French producer, restaurateur and On The Fruit label owner Franck Russo. With a dozen of songs recorded already, ranging from euphoric house to introspective ballads and Heaven 17-esque electro-pop, Loframes just dropped their debut single “Get Real (Can’t Touch Your Love)” and it’s a winner. This brilliant debut single finds the pair delivering an addictive ’80s-infused synth-pop tune with James Yuill’s signature vocals. There’s also a playful saxophone solo. What a way to kick things off!
The single “Get Real (Can’t Touch Your Love)”, which comes complete with remixes from Parisian producer and Roche Musique co-founder Kartell and up-and-coming UK producer Aashton, will drop on March 9th.
