Toro Y Moi’s Chaz Bundick is gearing up to release his debut album “Michael” under his dance-oriented Les Sins moniker. Recorded and written over two years at Bundick’s home studio, the largely instrumental album is inspired by cartoon and movie soundtracks, and explores classic dance and pop music traditions. Here’s the album first single “Bother” for your listening pleasure.
Les Sins’ debut LP “Michael”, which follows a 12” on Carpark Records and two solid singles for Caribou’s Jaiolong label, will arrive on November 4 via Company Records, a new label from Bundick and Carpark Records. You can pre-order your copy here.
