Three years have passed since Frankfurt-based DJ/producer/musician Lauer, released “Phillips”, his excellent debut solo album on Running Back. Now, Lauer, also known as one half of Arto Mwambe and Tuff City Kids alongside Running Back boss Gerd Janson, has finally shared details of a follow-up, “Borndom”, which will arrive in May through Permanent Vacation. The 13-track record is said to be “rooted in pop music and mixed with the reactance and sound aesthetics of punk.” Our first taste from that forthcoming record comes in the form of “ESC”, an ’80s new wave-infused track featuring vocals from Jasnau.
Lauer’s second LP “Borndom” will drop on May 8th via Permanent Vacation.
