After dropping the superb disco-pop tune “A Groove”, the first single from their upcoming third album “Rest In Paradise”, back in June, Los Angeles-based duo Kisses, comprised of Jesse Kivel and Zinzi Edmundson, takes us on another funky ride with their new single “Control”. This delicious track is just one more good reason to get excited about “Rest In Paradise”. “While the groove of this song may be New York, the lyrics allude to the west and east sides of Los Angeles, a drive, that each year becomes more treacherous then the next. Next time you are in traffic on your commute, put this on and find solace in the groove that fully understands your traffic woes,” says Jesse Kivel.
Kisses’ new album “Rest In Paradise”, the follow-up to 2013’s album “Kids In LA”, is said to mark a “new chapter” in the synth-pop duo’s career. Recorded in New York with the backing of Midnight Magic, the 10-track record will drop on October 9 via Hit City USA.
