Over the past few years, London producer Kelly Lee Owens has contributed vocals to three songs on fellow UK techno wizard Daniel Avery’s excellent debut LP, 2014’s “Drone Logic”, and she’s made waves with a pair of 12-inch singles.
Now, she’s getting ready to drop a new EP called “Oleic”, which marks her debut release on Smalltown Supersound. On the record, the 27-year-old producer flexes her considerable muscle as a dance producer with four luscious, deeply satisfying slices of big-room electronic music. Get a taste of what’s to come with “CBM” (stands for Colours, Beauty, Motion), a rework of Jenny Hval’s “Kingsize”.
The “Oleic” EP arrives on October 21 via Smalltown Supersound. Pre-order your 12” here.
