Jessy Lanza: “Face” Video
Inspired by watching people’s faces on the New York subway.
Directed by Winston H. Case.
After dropping the single and video for “Lick In Heaven” back in February, Canadian singer and producer Jessy Lanza is back with her lush second single “Face” from her upcoming third LP “All The Time”, which will drop in July.
The single “Face”, co-written once again with long-time musical partner Jeremy Greenspan of Junior Boys, was inspired by watching people’s faces on the New York subway. The result is a nimble, playful piece of footwork, with an accompanying video whose origins are as fascinating as the song itself.
The “All The Time” LP arrives on July 24th via Hyperdub. Pre-order it here.
