It’s been a long, long time coming, but finally JBAG, the London-based, French-Italian dance duo of Jerry Bouthier and Andrea Gorgerino, return to our speakers with a new single called “Through Blue”, after last year’s much-played “Mogadisco”.
For this new single, JBAG have teamed up with Tomek Szpaderski, lead singer of Polish electro-pop trio Kamp!, to deliver a perfectly crafted track just in time for your carefree summer rides. Fueled by slick grooves, gentle piano stabs and playful steel drums, “Through Blue” is such a great tune that certainly evokes a sense of bittersweet nostalgia. The four-track “Through Blue” EP, which comes complete with fine remixes by Holmes Price, Jay Lamar & Jesse Oliver and Venice Beach, will arrive on July 21 via Jerry Bouthier’s own imprint Continental Records.
