It’s been four years since Parisian duo Housse de Racket, comprised of Pierre Leroux and Victor le Masne, put out their last album, but they’re finally back today with a new song called “The Tourist”. And it’s about as catchy as it gets. “The Tourist” is the first taste off their forthcoming third album of the same name, the follow-up to 2011’s “Alesia” on Kitsuné, produced by the legendary Philippe Zdar. Described as “a state of mind, a motionless journey,” the 11-track record was entirely recorded in guitarist/vocalist Pierre Leroux’s new apartment in Montmartre. As they say: “Music is a trip and we’re all tourists.”
Housse de Racket’s new album “The Tourist” drops on October 30th on Kus Kus / !K7 Records Records. Pre-order it here.
