New York-based boogie maestro and Superior Elevation boss Tom Noble has returned with the debut release of his new band House Of Spirits on Tim Sweeney’s label Beats In Space, and it’s all about the sounds of disco. Taking inspiration from the ’70s label Salsoul, “Holding On” is a solid disco track that has a timeless feel to it. With its vibrant energy of strings and gospel vocals, this eight-plus-minute track is pure class. Frankly, it’s one of the best disco tracks we’ve heard in a long time.
House Of Spirits’ “Holding On” 12”, which features an extended dub version entitled “Keep Holding On” from Peaking Lights’ Aaron Coyes on the flip, is out now via Beats In Space Records, while the digital version will come out on June 3. Pick up your copy here.
