HOUSE OF NUMBERS
Stevie R & Parisinos
We’ve been closely following London-based Greek artists and Inside Out Records bosses Stavros Potamitis, aka Stevie R, and Constantinos Parisinos, aka Parisinos, for quite sometime now, and it’s safe to say that they never cease to amaze us. Stevie R continues to push his beloved creation, the “Rebetronica sound”, dynamically fusing the Rebetiko folk music of his Greek homeland with cutting edge influences and analogue electronics, alongside his close friend and frequent collaborator Parisinos. The pair recently dropped their first full EP as a duo titled “Tekes” on Playground Records, a great four-tracker of dark magic, mystical chants and trippy atmospheres.
The one and only Stevie R and his partner-in-crime Parisinos make a pit stop at LAGASTA and enters its series of mini-interviews “House of Numbers”, counting down all his favourite things.

Stevie R & Parisinos have returned with their first full EP as a duo titled “Tekes”.
The Takes” EP on Playground Records is a four-tracker of dark magic, mystical chants and trippy atmospheres. The record features two original tracks; The title track is based on the old life, more meaningful and personal; slow analog repetitive percussions, traditional greek instruments and old movie vocal samples, setting the scene in an old circus that seems to be winding down after years on tour. “Yiare” in contrast is a late night screaming track where dancers can let go of their inhibitions and express themselves. The EP comes backed with two delightful remixes from the Romanian duo Khidja and London based artist Mytron.
