House Of 909: “So Much Love For You”

Originally released all the way back in 1997, London’s trio House Of 909 classic album “The Children We Were”, an eight-track record of effortlessly smooth, midtempo house groovers, was embraced by a niche audience, but overlooked on a larger scale. Now, a full 18 years later, New York/London-based label Cascine reissues “The Children We Were” on limited-edition vinyl, as well as in digital form. The material has been remastered, the artwork redone and the record repackaged. One of the album’s finest moments is “So Much Love For You”, featuring vocals from Bobbi Depasois, an elegant piece of house brilliance. What’s not to love?
