Tim Sullivan, what a guy! Fresh off the release of his superb debut “On & On”/”This Place Was Meant For Me” EP for Eskimo Recordings, Australian producer/DJ returns to our station with his first remix under his new This Soft Machine alias, and it’s a winner. He works his magic on “Hold It Like I Own It”, the infectious new single from Horixon, the London-based outfit of Monarchy’s Andrew Armstrong and Joe Sambrook. In the hands of This Soft Machine, the original track, featuring vocals from Maya and co-written with Karin Park, is transformed into something different, a groovy cosmic-disco ride that clocks in at seven minutes. Give it a spin above, and ride with us.
The “Hold It Like I Own It” EP, which also features another new original track “Burnt Orange” and a pair of remixes by Hermigervill, is out now on Eskimo Recordings. Buy it here.
