The first Beats In Space Records release of 2014 comes from Brooklyn-based duo Hidden Fees, and it’s a great one! Having released only a 12” “Sail Away”, featuring vocals from Light Asylum’s Shannon Funchess, all the way back in 2011, the duo of Ivan Berko and Thomas Gluibizzi, take us for a ride with their solid new jam “So What”, which has been described as “organic music for the modern dancefloor”. This track, featuring vocals from Ghost Exits’ Christopher Exits, will get some serious rotations this winter.
Hidden Fees’ “So What” EP, backed with two remixes from Lisbon legend Tiago, is out now on Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space Records. The EPs tropicalia cover art, created by Brian DeGraw, who’s best known for his work in Gang Gang Dance, is truly amazing.
