After last year’s stomping debut double-A side “Priestess’/’Bravado”, Melbourne analog synthesist and disco minimalist Mike Katz, aka Harvey Sutherland, and his live band Bermuda, are back with a new six-track EP, entitled “Expectations”.
The second release for Sutherland’s own Clarity Recordings brings his Bermuda project, featuring Graeme Pogson on drums and Tamil Rogeon on strings, into sharp focus – six tracks spanning Harvey’s influences from the West Coast to West End Records. The record also includes a long-awaited studio version of live favourite “Clarity”. Our first taste of the forthcoming record comes in the form of “Coast 2 Coast”, a finely crafted uptempo burner for your spring rides.
