UK disco legend Greg Wilson recently launched his new label Super Weird Substance, a multi-media label that deals with balearicpsychedelicdubdisco recordings and ’60s-styled happenings. The imprint’s first release is a remix EP, including three reworks of Greg Wilson’s “Summer Came My Way”, featuring The Reynolds, a solid tune which originally featured on last year’s “Schooled In The Classics” 12”. Here, we have LA’s producer/DJ Blake Robin, aka Luxxury, stellar nine-minute remix of “Summer Came My Way’ full of sun-drenched vibes. What a ride!
The “Summer Came My Way” EP, which also includes a remix by Sheffield producer Walter Ego, will arrive in both vinyl and digital formats on June 22 via Super Weird Substance. Pre-order it here. There’s plenty of new releases on the way!
