Melbourne/Naarm based producer Jackson Greatz, who’s also co-founder of the strictly vinyl-only label Boots & Legs, is a lover of all things ’80s Italo disco and synth-pop. Returning from his Asian tour last year, the producer has found influence in the cities of the east to deliver his superb debut EP, entitled “Vertigo Months”, under his GREETINGS moniker for Lobster Theremin sub-label There Is Love In You. The EP sees the producer creating a collection of tracks as a form of escapism, to give feelings of joy, nostalgia and overcoming pain and love. GREETINGS delicately blends new wave Italo with 90s euphoria dream house, serving up four uplifting, feel-good gems. One of the standout cuts is the record’s opener “I Care About You”, a surefire summer anthem. The “Vertigo Months” EP is nothing short of Italo disco, synth pop perfection.
