Erlend Øye: “Garota” Video

The recent news of The Whitest Boy Alive splitting up filled us with sadness, but at least Erlend Øye’s forthcoming new solo album called “Legao” is consolation enough. Today, the Norwegian singer/producer/musician has shared the beautiful video for the album’s first single “Garota”, which was shot in Seoul, and starring Korean actress Hana Lee.

The album “Legao”, his first record since 2003′s “Unrest”, will contain ten English-language pop tracks, recorded in collaboration with Hjálmar, Iceland’s most popular reggae band, at their studio in Reykjavik. “Legao” will arrive on October 3 via Bubbles Records. You can pre-order your copy here.
