Take a slow ride with “Runaway”, a synth-pop tune from Toronto’s Electric Youth, the ’80s-obsessed duo of Bronwyn Griffin and Austin Garrick, best known for their much-loved track “A Real Hero”, a collaboration with Parisian producer College, from the Drive soundtrack. The pair’s new single “Runaway” that has a decidedly retro vibe is lifted from their forthcoming debut album, “Innerworld”, which will arrive on September 30 through Last Gang Records/Secretly Canadian. You can pre-order your copy here.
Update: You can watch the video for “Runaway”, which was directed by Noel Paul. Filmed in Beirut, Lebanon, the video follows an increasingly tense day in the life of Saro and Khodor.
