Eden Burns: “Big Beat Manifesto”
New Zealand’s very own Eden Burns has been quite busy as of late, releasing a handful of records this year on Munich’s Public Possession. After dropping the EPs “Paws A Taieri Story” and “Kelly”, the prolific producer returns to the ever-excellent label with his new four-tracker, “Big Beat Manifesto Vol. I”, spreading the message of the Big Beat: “Beat moves feet. Feet do dance. Dance brings joy. Joy is life. Life is special.”
A call to let loose wherever you are, the record collects three dancefloor-driven tracks and an atmospheric piece of beauty, showcases his ability to effortlessly produce quality tunes. The EPs title track is an infectious groover that clocks in at nearly eight minutes and it’s hard to resist. Hopefully there’s more Eden Burns goodness on the way.
The “Big Beat Manifesto Vol. I” is out now via Public Possession. Each Volume comes in a limited vinyl edition of 100. Pick up your here.
