We’ve been waiting patiently to hear new material from Australian producer and musician Charles Murdoch, who has also been known as a member of Brisbane’s indie-pop outfit Mitzi, for almost two years now. The wait however is over as Charles Murdoch brings us “Straws”, the first single from his forthcoming debut album “Point” on Future Classic. Deep and emotive, “Straws” marks the producer’s first new music since the arrival of his excellent debut “Weathered Straight” EP in 2013. And it’s a great one.
The track’s accompanying video, produced by young German creative collective Jüngling, is the first installment of a video trilogy called “The Dichotomous”.
