Bottin shares a favourite track
A track a day keeps the bad vibes away.
With the current circumstances and the weird, turbulent times all over the globe, we asked our friends to choose a favourite album or a track for these isolated days, and share it with us along with a photo. An album a day keeps the bad vibes away. Stay safe.
Today we welcomed our beloved Bottin. The mighty Italian producer shares with us Gianni Bella’s 1983 track “Fiocco Rosso”, a deliciously uplifting song about two lovers having a good time.
In his own words: “I’ve had enough of the gloomy, high-brow electronica that’s everyone is talking about (and maybe listening to) this months. So I’ve picked a happy, uplifting song about two lovers having a good time. It’s called ‘Fiocco Rosso’ (Red bow). Gianni Bella is well known for is work as both and artist composer. He’s of course the brother of ever more well-known singer Marcella Bella. Lyrics for this album were written by Mogol, not long after the split with Lucio Battisti. Producer is Geoff Westley, who also did some of Battisti’s best records. Legendary Phil Palmer on guitar and a killer bass by Andy Brown.”
