Blood Orange: “Augustine” Video

Last night, in a surprise move, Devonté Hynes, aka Blood Orange, dropped his third album “Freetown Sound” on Domino, which follows 2011’s “Coastal Grooves” and 2013’s breakthrough “Cupid Deluxe”. Named after the birthplace of Hynes’ father, the capital of Sierra Leone, the 17-track record featuring guest appearances from Carly Rae Jepsen, Nelly Furtado, Debbie Harry, Adam Bainbridge, aka Kindness, Empress Of, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and more. You can now watch the self-directed video for the album’s lead single “Augustine”, which features a cameo from Julian Casablanca.
