Ben Browning: “I Knew Someone” Video
Cut Copy’s Ben Browning drops a self-directed animated video for his new single.
Directed by Ben Browning.
After dropping his breezy track “I Concede”, Cut Copy’s bassist Ben Browning is back with his new single “I Knew Someone”, one of the snappiest tunes off his upcoming third solo LP “Until We Win”, due out in April. The single arrives with a cool animated video, which was directed by the man himself.
Speaking about the clip, Ben Browning says, “The idea started as a way to loop some short animations and videos I had made and display them in an interesting way (on TVs!) I started adding parts of my face, eyes etc. and the meaning of the song (about how we change, how we’re not the same person over time etc.) and the separated parts of my face were suddenly part of the same theme. I spent a lot of time up late animating and rendering these little scenes…”.
The single “I Knew Someone” is out now via Ben Browning’s Kardinian Records.
