DC duo Beautiful Swimmers, comprised of Andrew Field-Pickering, aka Maxmillion Dunbar, and Ari Goldman, recently dropped their superb debut full-length “Son”, a sample-heavy album that blends a wide range of influences and genres-including house, disco, hip-hop, and dub, to name a few.
The album collects the two previously released and out-of-print tracks, 2009’s “Swimmers Groove” and and 2010’s “Big Coast”, alongside a bunch of new material. There is plenty of jams to dive into and discover. Without question, one of the album’s standout tracks is “Running Over”, which you can stream above. It’s a solid summery tune full of sun-kissed vibes. Damn son, this is so groovy!
Beautiful Swimmers’ album “Son” is out now on Field-Pickering’s own label, Future Times.
