Antony & Cleopatra, a duo comprised of London singer Anita Blay (formerly CocknBullKid) and Alexander Burnett (of Australian indie pop-rockers Sparkadia), keep the uplifting house vibes rolling with their brand-new single “Love Is A Lonely Dancer”. One again, Antony & Cleopatra brings us an infectious slice of ’90s-flavored house with a heady, piano-laden chorus and vocal interplay. In their own words: “It’s one of the first songs we wrote. It was written in a basement studio in Hackney Downs a few years ago. We kind of dismissed it and it wasn’t till a few years later, we revisited and thought there was something to it. It was eventually produced in New York by the very talented Sammy Bananas.”
The “Love Is A Lonely Dancer” single, backed with remixes by the likes of Amateur Dance, Low Steppa, LCAW, and Colour Castle, is out now via Universal. Buy it here.
