Say hello to AKASE, the new collaborative project between London-based DJ/producer Harry Agius, aka Midland, and singer-songwriter Robbie Redway. Recently signed to !K7, the duo have shared their debut single “Rust”, a well-crafted tune taken from their upcoming collaborative album, co-produced by Ewan Pearson, set to arrive later this year.
“Having been writing for about six months on and off, ‘Rust’ was the first track that truly clicked for us. It was the catalyst by which the album started to take shape and the AKASE sound started to form,” say Harry and Robbie. The single “Rust” drops on June 29th via !K7, backed with a remix by Midland.
