Brazilian-born Israel-based singer/songwriter/producer Abrão, former lead singer of the underground post-punk band “Kafka”, is notable for his frequent collaborations with Tel Aviv’s Red Axes, the duo of Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi. He’s now getting ready to drop his first self-titled solo EP, which was produced by Red Axes. The record features four songs that talk about his past, his future, love and hate, dirt and clean, they are sometimes happy and sometimes sad, but they are always different. Our first taste comes in the form of “Por Ela”, a beauty of a tune. Give it a spin above, and take a ride with this tropical magician.
Abrão’s debut EP will arrive on September 16 on Red Axes’ own imprint, Garzen Records.
