A Track A Day: Phunkadelica

A Track A Day:
Phunkadelica

With the current circumstances and the weird, turbulent times all over the globe, we asked our friends to choose a favourite track or an album for these isolated days, and share it with us along with a photo. A track a day keeps the bad vibes away. Stay safe.

Next up on our “A Track A Day” series is Phunkadelica, who always deliver the goods. The prolific Italian duo of Luca Marano and Toni Sambataro share with us one of their favourite records, The Alan Parsons Project’s 1977 classic “I Robot”.

In Phunkadelica own words: “‘I Robot’ by The Alan Parsons Project is undoubtedly a cornerstone we share despite our different musical background. As a matter of fact, it’s a meeting point, an ensemble between rock and electronic music, which are certainly the two elements that most influenced both of us, since we were kids. This (too) peaceful time has given us time to dust off some milestones.”
