Manuel Darquart: “Breeze”
Perfect for driving down a coastal highway with the windows down.
Manuel Darquart, the New Zealand-bred, London-based production duo of Louis Anderson-Rich and Sean Whittaker, lands on Rotterdam’s Infinite Pleasure label with their superb new EP, a four-tracker called “The Adriatic” of Italo house-inspired tunes, which marks the pair’s first record in two years.
With the taste of a few European summers tickling their tastebuds and the sounds of a freshly bought Korg M1 pulsing through their ears, Manuel Darquart create an EP that hopefully sounds as good on the shores of the Adriatic as it does in any London club. A departure from the low-slung boogie tones of their last “Birds Of Paradiso” EP, this record oozes summery vibes that will instantly transport you to a place where the sun always shines.
Today we’re delighted to premiere the EPs B2 cut “Breeze”, a brilliantly crafted track of sun-soaked, breezy house. True to its title, this one is just perfect for driving down a coastal highway with the windows down. Blast it below, exclusively on LAGASTA.
Manuel Darquart’s “The Adriatic” EP arrives on May 8 via Infinite Pleasure.
