Berlin-via-Melbourne producer Tornado Wallace has shared a psychedelic video for his new track “Midnight Mania”. It’s taken from his forthcoming mini-album of the same name, which will drop on March 20th via Optimo Music. The five-track record, which follows 2017’s debut LP “Lonely Planet” on Gerd Janson’s Running Back label, is “inspired by earth, both the planet itself as the small insignificant celestial being in the great cosmic story, and earth – the dirt itself – the womb and the tomb of life‘s mysteries and wild manifestations.”
Story behind the video: I was half knocked out on a sleeping pill on a flight from Europe to Australia when my phone started playing Midnight Mania. In this fuzzy state I had a weird dream along with the music. I immediately wrote the dream down in my phone notes and kind of forgot about it until I saw it months later. Being a fan of Stacie’s stuff already, I asked her if she could reimagine the dream for this music video clip. With some scenes spliced in by Martin Onassis for extra psychedelia.
