We’re only two weeks away until Moullinex’s third album “Hypersex”, a collective love letter to Club Culture, drops on Discotexas. Today, we’re treated to a stream of “Carnival”, a delicious, groove-filled disco tune that finds Portuguese producer Luis Clara Gomes teaming up with North Carolina singer Shermar.
The 13-track record, a truly collaborative effort, also features collaborations with the likes of Fritz Helder (of Azari & III fame), Georgia Anne Muldrow, UhAhUh, Tee Flowers, Rebeka’s Iwona Skwarek, Best Youth, Marta Ren and Da Chick, and is accompanied by a fanzine and a series of videos that celebrate the album’s themes.
In his own words: “‘Hypersex’ was designed to multiply connections between people. It’s also a metaphor for the dancefloor: a place where, throughout history, we came together and created something new”.
The album “Hypersex” arrives on October 6. Pre-order it here.
