Norwegian space-disco don Lindstrøm is back with his fifth solo album “It’s Alright Between Us As It Is”, his first solo record since 2012’s “Smallhans”.
The nine-track album, presented as one continuous stream of nine interlocked tracks, shows Lindstrøm refining his love of arpeggiated synths, relentless uplifting beats, warm and steamy analogue bubble baths and earworm melodies. The album’s title is a direct quote from one of Lindstrøm’s favourite movies, Ingmar Bergman’s “Wild Strawberries”.
Today, Lindstrøm shares the album’s lead single “Shinin”, a seven-minute space-disco tune featuring Grace Hall, who previously featured on his 2015 single “Home Tonight”. The record also includes collaborations with Jenny Hval and Frida Sundemo.
