The last time we heard from Zealand-born, Peckham-based duo Chaos In The CBD was back in August when they dropped their sublime “Midnight In Peckham” EP on Rhythm Section. The record of four delicate jazz-inspired cuts filled with hypnotic grooves and late-night vibes has soundtracked many of our late summer rides. Now, the brotherly duo of Ben and Louis Helliker-Hales make a welcome return with a new EP, a three-track offering called “Constraints Of Time Travel”, set to drop later this month via London label Church. Serving as our first taste of the record is “Phantom Melodies”, a warm slice of deep, jazz-infused house. Just perfect!
