After releasing a handful of material over the past two years, Horixon, the London-based duo of Monarchy’s Andrew Armstrong and Joe Sambrook, return to our ears with their new single “Colours”. This marks the pair’s third release for Eskimo Recordings after the EPs, “Brighter Day”, featuring house legend Robert Owens, and “Hold It Like I Own It”. For this single, Horixon have teamed up with Turid Alida Solberg, aka Else Born, from Norwegian duo Philco Fiction, to deliver one of their finest tracks to date. With its sorrowful strings and luscious pop melodies, “Colours” is a beautifully crafted track that creates a sense of longing. Give it a spin above.
The “Colours” EP will drop on September 4th via Eskimo. The release comes complete with remixes by Croatian producer Petar Dundov and Glasgow duo Illyus & Barrientos.
