New York-based DJ/producer/vocalist Kim Ann Foxman debut solo single “Creature”, a collaborative track with former Hercules & Love Affair bandmate Andy Butler, finally gets a proper vinyl release. Originally released in 2010 on Butler’s own Mr. INTL label, Foxman describes “Creature” as a “jam that I hold very close to my heart. It’s never been available on wax vinyl before so I’m really excited that I’ll finally be able to have it in my hands.”
The release comes complete with four new remixes of “Creature” by fellow New Yorkers A/Jus/Ted, the electro-dance duo of Justin Strauss and Teddy Stuart, Italian disco producer and DJ Nick Simoncino, and Kim Ann herself. Here, we have A/Jus/Ted’s eight-plus-minute vocal mix of the track for your listening pleasure. And it’s a great one. Blast it above.
Kim Ann Foxman’s “Creature – Remixes” is out now on her label Firehouse Recordings in collaboration with The Vinyl Factory. Buy it here.
