Al Pagoda: “Steel Outro (Conga Fever’s 2 Steps In Time Remix)”
Conga Fevers drops a gorgeous remix of bliss-house goodness.
Al Pagoda returns with a two piece project called “A Deer Falling Into The Sea”.
Last year, Berlin-based Spanish composer and producer Al Pagoda dropped his exceptional first mini album “Lucky Veil” via the eclectic record label Bigamo. A record of seven songs built out of layering luminous synth melodies that sound strong, iconic, like a childhood memory that’s long been dormant.
Now, Al Pagoda returns with a two piece project called “A Deer Falling Into The Sea”, consisting of a remix compilation of “Lucky Veil” and a short-documentary film. The first part: “A Deer Falling Into The Sea” (Lucky Veil Remixes) is a revision of his “Lucky Veil” mini album, set to drop to be released via Banned In Vegas in collaboration with Bigamo. It’s a new perspective by close friends and musicians that influenced the creation process of the album in one way or another. The nine-track record includes remixes by the likes of Iro Aka, Opal Sunn, Sean Pineiro, and more.
In his own words: “Marking the half year since the release of the album, I wanted to celebrate with a side project we’ve been preparing during these special times. It’s called A DEER FALLING INTO THE SEA, and the first part is a revision of Lucky Veil by very close friends, and musicians that I was lucky enough to have around and influenced the creation of the album in one way or another.”
Before it drops, we are treated to a stream of a gorgeous remix of Al Pagoda’s “Steel Outro” by Conga Fever, the moniker of Berlin-based, many- hat-wearing Tom Hessler. His blissful “2 Steps In Time” remix arrives accompanied by a video, which was directed by Spanish artist Tirador.
Al Pagoda’s “A Deer Falling Into The Sea” (Lucky Veil Remixes) will drop in a limited edition of 100 cassette tapes copies & digital on May 28th via Banned In Vegas.
