Christopher Stracey: “Music For Growing Plants” LP
Bag Raiders’ Christopher Stracey drops his debut album of New Age for all ages.
Take some time off, put it on, and watch your plants grow…
Australian composer and producer Christopher Stracey, one half of the electronic duo Bag Raiders alongside Jack Glass, just dropped his surprise debut solo album, titled “Music For Growing Plants”, on Los Angeles-based label Energy Of Others.
Christopher Stracey made this album of new age and ambient music amidst the quarantine times as a welcome to planet earth gift to his godson Ellsworth, who was born last year. The result is a 10-track record of pure beauty.
In his own words: “‘Music for Growing Plants’ is a musical exploration of the life cycles of living organisms from birth to growth, existence, death, and back around again. It was conceived as a ‘welcome to planet earth’ gift for the birth of my godson, mid 2020. Take some time off, put it on, and watch your plants grow.”
