Next in line on our “A Track A Day” series is New Zealand’s very own Eden Burns, who has been quite busy as of late, releasing a handful of quality records as part of his excellent “Big Beat Manifesto” series on Public Possession. The prolific producer shares with us Andras’ “Australian Music Anthology 1977-1989”- a single, 1.8 second loop cut as a concentric, infinite locked groove. Developed from an overheard remark that Australian music for almost two decades was “basically a never ending Go-Betweens riff”.

In his own words: “The record I have chosen is Andras’ ‘Australian Music Anthology 1977 – 1989’, a one-sided locked groove containing a 2 second loop from the Australian hit ‘Streets Of Your Town’ by The Go Betweens. This record is a lot of fun to DJ with! A great way to spice up your set and maybe annoy the crowd with. Now every time I hear the original ‘Streets Of Your Town” all I can hear is the never ending loop…haha, thanks Andy!”
